Description
The current linux kernel running on this version of Balena OS is buggy and outdated. I have run into multiple issues trying to enroll dozens of coral devices into our existing education service CHI@Edge (on which we and Balena have collaborated in the past).
This issue is related to the following two balena-forum posts on which I encountered kernel related issues that prevented me from running something as simple and widely supported as k3s:
- https://forums.balena.io/t/google-coral-dev-board-running-balena-os-2-108-26-crashes-due-to-nf-conntrack-netlink-kernel-module-loaded-needed-to-run-k3s-agent/370318
- https://forums.balena.io/t/how-to-get-kernel-call-stack-trace-in-balena-os-following-a-kernel-crash/370336 (on which Florin asked me to create this issue)
Could you please also let me know if you have a timeline for this issue, we were hoping to have these devices enrolled before the start of June but that is likely unrealistic, I would greatly appreciate a timeline
