Is your feature request related to a problem or challenge?
As we discussed with @alamb here #18946 (comment) , a cleaner solution might be to store example data directly inside the datafusion-examples crate (e.g. an examples/data/folder). I inlined the data because I ran into issues #18946 (comment) reading files that live outside the datafusion-examples crate
