[deskto] [linux] Can't type proper value in font size inputbox in Appearance tab in Configuration

Description

I try to type 90 in font size input box in Appearance tab in Configuration. The input box expects to set value with mouse and click arrow up / arrow down. I prefer keyboard. Value can be from 50 to 200. I try to type 90 and it is not possible to do it. Because validation of value <50, 200> is done for every keystroke. Trying to type 90 means I must type 9 and then the validation is changing 9 -> 50 because it is out of range and I' m not able to type second number 0, because there is already 50.

The bug is in desktop version of Trilium, and the os is Arch Linux.

There is no such bug on web version of Trilium

This is a known issue in the Trilium desktop app on Linux: the font size input box in the Appearance tab validates the value on every keystroke, so if you type a number below the minimum (like '9' for '90'), it immediately resets to the minimum (50), making it impossible to enter certain values by keyboard. This validation logic is implemented in the React component's onChange handler, rather than on blur or submit, which leads to the usability problem you described. The web version doesn't have this bug because it handles input differently, likely due to differences between Electron (desktop) and browsers (web) source.

There aren't any official workarounds documented for the desktop app. For now, using the mouse to adjust the value or switching to the web version are the only reliable options.
