Visual Editor to-do list cannot linkify only the first word

Describe the bug
When adding a link to a to-do list, the whole list item gets wrapped in an <a> tag even if you only highlighted a part of the text.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Open the Visual Editor
2. Create a to-do list
3. Make a to-do item with two words
4. Linkify the first word
5. Save the page

Expected behavior
Only the linkified word should be clickable

Host Info (please complete the following information):

• OS: Windows_NT (win32) 10.0.18362 ia32
• Wiki.js version: 2.0.0-rc.17
• Database engine: postgres 11.3

Additional context
A workaround has been to add a whitespace in front of the link and leave that out of the selection. It seems to only happen if you create the link from the start of the to-do item.
