Appeal for Discount Request – No Current Application

Hello,

I attempted to create a discount request but received the following error message:

"There was an error creating the discount request. Errors: Discount request could not be created. Discount request errors: You have an outstanding discount request for @thaihadefi. We will get back to you soon."

I would like to clarify that I do not currently have any active or pending discount request. My student email is verified, I have provided a valid student ID card, my location is turned on, and my university is verified through the location. However, no application appears in my account for me to even cancel or manage, which suggests this is a system error.

What should I do now?

I recommend you contact support by opening a ticket here, select "Other" and explain your problem.

It looks like a system error since GitHub thinks you still have a pending request.
In this case, the best option is to contact the GitHub Education Support team directly and explain the situation.

Tell them that you don’t have any active or visible requests in your account but still get this error.
They can manually clear or reset your application so you can reapply.
