Error getting school location – NOUN (Nigeria) student email not recognized

Hi everyone,

Hello, I am a student at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), and I am trying to apply for the GitHub Student Developer Pack.
I have a valid student email under the @noun.edu.ng domain, but when I attempt to verify, I keep receiving the message: “Error getting school location try again.”
The page does not provide me with an option to upload additional proof or documents, so I am unable to proceed.
Could you please advise on how I can complete my verification? Is there a way to have the NOUN email domain recognized or to submit manual proof of my student status?

HI @Clintonlelop,

If you are using a VPN, make sure to disable it and enable localization on both your OS and browser to continue with the process.
Log out and log back into GitHub before reapplying.

If you're still unable to continue, I recommend you contact support by opening a ticket here, select "Other" and explain your problem.
