Denied for no reason (student)

Hi everyone!

Today, like 8.5 hours ago, I tried to sign up/apply for Github Education. Like 8 hours later, I got a email, that told me, my application was denied. But there was no reason. I am in 9th grade in switzerland. Could someone help me?

Sometimes GitHub Education applications get denied if the proof of enrollment isn’t clear enough.
Here are a few tips:

• Make sure you upload a valid student ID card or a school-issued document with your name and current date.
• If your school email ends with .edu or your school’s domain, try signing up with that email.
• If you think the denial was a mistake, you can reapply and include clearer documentation.

Thanks for your reply! I reapplyes a few times and did not get accepted... This is kind of frustrating also because this is my last year of education and I want to get Github Education at least for these 3 quaters of the year which are remaning...

Hello my dear!
I had some problems too, and one tip that helped was:

• Try taking screenshots, not photos, of the documents.
• If possible, do it when you're at your university, sharing your location.
• Also, if possible, try to get proof of enrollment and take a screenshot of this document (I noticed that if you simply take a photo with your cell phone, the image quality is poor).
• If you're not at home, I strongly recommend that you take a screenshot of your schedule (containing your class schedule) when you need to justify your application. This was definitely what got me through.
