I am blind and uses NVDA as my main screen reader.
The issue occurs both for issues and PRs, and both for list page and specific issue/PR page.
When reading in browse mode with NVDA and encountering a label, the label is read first and then its description. On the opposite, sigthed people only read the label and they can get the description on demand, i.e. putting the mouse cursor on it to have the tooltip. As a screen reader user, I am forced to hear all label descriptions. Having too much information to hear is not really unefficient.
I need to have only the label read, and, if needed, the description should be read on demand.
