Hi GitHub Support,

It's been a week since my GitHub homepage feed (where all my connections' recent activity is displayed) stopped loading. Instead of showing the feed, I receive the following error message:

Uh oh! There was an error in loading the activity feed.

I've tried reloading the page, but the issue persists. Interestingly, my friends' GitHub feeds are loading fine, so I believe this might be an error specific to my account.

Could you please investigate and resolve this issue as soon as possible?

Same here. I unchecked the Repository Activity filter, and it went back to normal. If I recheck it, the feed breaks again.

Try to disable/uncheck all filters then activate them one by one to debug which filter is causing the problem.

It worked for me again when I disabled the "repository activities"

Same problem here, same solution: deactivate "repository activities" in the filter settings.

In my case, it turned out to be an individual problem, with some post in the feed causing the error. I solved it by writing a ticket to the Github support, who cleared part of the feed.

I had to uncheck "Recommendations" in my filters, and now my feed is working again.

I was having the same issue. Go to the Filter, and uncheck the "Repository Activity", and the activity feed should start loading. For me, it worked when I did this. Based on the previous answers as well, the problem seems to be centric towards this "Repository Activity" filter itself.

This issue can occur occasionally, and the problematic filter may vary. To troubleshoot:

1. Disable/uncheck all filters first.
2. Re-enable them one by one to identify which filter is causing the issue.

In my case, disabling the Repository Activities filter resolved the problem when it occurred.

Now, everything is back to normal, even with all filters enabled.

My case was the same, although this is still indicative of a bug that clearly has not been addressed. Not a big issue though but slightly annoying.
